Transfer students are able to seek the assistance of the degree granting academic advisors for course registration concerns, however the primary focus should be completing the course requirements necessary to gain entry into a degree granting engineering major. Details regarding the change of major process, requirements, and polices can be located on the Change of Major webpage.
VERY IMPORTANT:Students should verify that their Transfer Credits have been awarded appropriately by viewing their Transfer and Other Additional Credit under the Grades Menu in Hokie Spa and reviewing the Transfer Guides for courses previously evaluated for transfer credit. It is the student's responsibility to ensure their academic record is accurate and reflects the appropriate courses. If credits are not showing or showing incorrectly, students should follow-up on this immediately with their academic advisor.
